An assignment for a class for teachers, this bound volume is a thorough plan for a teaching unit of the Eskimos of Alaska for elementary school level. The book includes a table of contents, background material for the teacher, methods of approach, statements of objectives, activities and worksheets for the children (including samples), correlations, tests, and evaluation of the unit. There is an extensive bibliograph which includes background material as well as lists of children's books. There is also a list of addresses to obtain materials for the unit. Many illustrations and sample exercises are provided. Illustrations are mostly from magazines and tourism pamphlets and brochures. Bound in blue patterned cloth with the title and her name stamped in gold on front.
